Regression in Freedoms Across the Middle East

Freedom in the World 2010, viagra sale an influential report published annually by the US-based Freedom House, page found Jordan, Bahrain, Yemen, Morocco and the Palestinian Territories to have suffered a serious deterioration of political rights and civil liberties over the past year.

Despite positive trends in recent years, Bahrain, Jordan and Yemen were all downgraded from the ‘Partly Free’ rating to ‘Not Free’ following restrictions on freedom of association, growing censorship and harassment of journalists, and the systemic repression of civic activists advocating for political reform or the maintenance of human rights.
