Benjamin has served as the News Director of The Media Line™ news agency since 2009.

The Media Line™ is a non-profit news agency which seeks to enhance and balance media coverage in the Middle East, promote independent reporting in the region, and break down barriers to understanding in the Arab and Israeli journalism communities.

Recognized as “The MidEast News Source™, the organization’s mission is to provide credible, unbiased content, background and context to local media outlets throughout the Middle East and around the world via print, radio and video.

The agency covers the broader Middle East, including North and East Africa, the Gulf states, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Benjamin became the editor of Colors Magazine in 2007.

An international creative reportage magazine sold in over 40 countries and published in five languages, Colors was established in 1991 under the leadership of Tibor Kalman and Oliviero Toscani.

Using conceptual design, visual language, and creative writing, Colors themes range from the serious (ecology, violence, monoculture and HIV) to the frivolous (shopping, fashion, and toys).

A full series of Colors issues was recently included in the London Design Museum’s 25/25 exhibition, which featured the 25 most influential design objects of the past 25 years.
